Summary0027102: Category field missing after upgrade
Description

After upgrading from 1.8 to current 2.24.1 when attempting to submit a ticket the category field is not present.
The submission fails with the following error message:
APPLICATION ERROR #11

A necessary field "category" was empty. Please recheck your inputs.
Please use the "Back" button in your web browser to return to the previous page. There you can correct whatever problems were identified in this error or select another action. You can also click an option from the menu bar to go directly to a new section.

I'm sure this is something simple, just not sure what. Is there maybe a random setting?

Steps To Reproduce

Copy config_inc.php from existing install
php /var/www/html/admin/upgrade_unattended.php
remove admin directory
login
report issue
submit
fill in required data
submit issue

Additional Information

I've attempted this process a few different times, including doing the manual upgrade via the web interface.

Have you set option bug_report_page_fields in config_inc.php ?

It was set. I added category_id to the array and it works now. Thanks, I knew it had to be something simple! You can mark this as closed.
