Summary0021910: use a root class to help css customizing
Description

To help users cutomize the css styles, it can be good to have a root class for the body of page, or the top div, which can be configurable.

So the option :
$g_root_css_class = 'custom'

Will make all the css rules defined under that class to apply:

.custom xxx yyy : {...}

and, iirc, take precedence over the system provided:

xxx yyy : {...}

On a more advanced usage, this option can be used to change styling by defining a set of css styles for different root classes.
